As such many charming western styled architecture can be found here. Named as a National Scenic Spot, it is renowned for its natural beauty and ancient relics. There are several places of interest on the island including the Statue of ZhengChengGong (A National Hero); the Piano Museum - with more than 200 pianos; the Sunlight Rock ¨C highest point on the island.

MingSha Mountain/Crescent Moon Spring ¨C Take a camel ride up this mountain and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Crescent Moon Spring. A movie, starring Michelle Yeoh, The Touch, was filmed here. This spring, already shrinking fast, may disappear in several years. Terracotta Warriors - This world famous UNESCO Heritage site was built during the Qin Period by the first emperor of China.
